Thanks Randy. I was chatting with Marcus Pomeroy-Rowden recently, he and his wife Freya built the incredible wooden ship 'Grayhound' originally (https://grayhoundventures.com/ship/) and we both agreed there is no such thing as a 'green' boat. His opinion is that we do our best within our reality (budget, resources and materials available, etc) and then offset our impact through our lifestyle. For example, they lived very simply aboard their boat sailing around the world for many years.
Building a Wharram is already agreeing to the design principle of simplicity, so that's a good start in the right direction of having a lesser impact overall.
